What Is the Usage Fee in GemX?
The usage fee is an additional monthly charge that applies only to stores using the Funnel Optimize plan. This fee scales with your monthly store revenue and enables advanced CRO features.
Important note: If you are currently using the Page Optimize plan, you will not be charged any usage fee.

GemX tracks your store’s revenue throughout the calendar month. The usage fee only begins when your revenue reaches $20,000, and the amount is calculated based on the actual number of days above that threshold.

How the fee is applied

Common Scenario: Store Reaches $20K Mid-Month
If your store crosses $20,000 in the middle of a month, GemX calculates your usage fee based on the exact number of days above the threshold.
How it works
- Store hits $20K revenue on a specific date
- Identify your monthly usage fee tier (e.g., $100/month)
- Divide by the number of days in the month to get the daily rate
- Multiply by the number of days from the threshold date until the end of the month
- Shopify adds this total to your next bill
